Beau Rivage — the Strip-quality property

MGM-owned. The most polished casino on the Gulf Coast — a Vegas-tier integrated resort. ~1,700 slots, ~80 tables, 1,740 hotel rooms, 12 restaurants, the Beau Rivage Theatre. The default for a coast trip if you want one anchor stay.

MGM Rewards card connects to Vegas, so this is also the natural status-match if you play in Vegas.

Hard Rock Biloxi

On the beach in Biloxi. ~1,200 slots, ~60 tables, 481 rooms, the Hard Rock Live concert venue. Strong Hard Rock food/atmosphere; mid-tier gaming.

IP Casino Resort

Imperial Palace successor; in Biloxi back bay. ~1,600 slots, ~50 tables, decent hotel. Lower minimums than Beau Rivage; broader Asian-game representation.

Scarlet Pearl, Golden Nugget, Boomtown

Scarlet Pearl (D'Iberville) — newer build, well-designed. Golden Nugget Biloxi — 711 rooms, on the beach, rebrand from former Isle of Capri. Boomtown Biloxi — older, smaller, locals-favored, lower minimums.

What to play

Mississippi blackjack: 3:2 is findable but not universal — verify before sitting. House edge can be 0.5% on a good table or 2%+ on 6:5. Beau Rivage's high-limit room is the strongest 3:2 source.

Craps and baccarat are well-represented. Poker: Beau Rivage and IP run the bigger rooms.

Food and the broader trip

The Gulf Coast's food is genuinely good — gumbo, po'boys, seafood. Mary Mahoney's Old French House (Biloxi) is the institution. Half Shell Oyster House (Gulfport) is the casual pick.
