Pennsylvania has 17 commercial and tribal casinos and the most mature iGaming market in the US. Here's the working casino map.
Pennsylvania licenses 17 land casinos and the most mature iGaming market in the US (full online slots/tables/poker plus sports betting). Major properties: Parx Casino (Bensalem, Philly suburb), Live! Casino Philadelphia (South Philly), Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, Wind Creek Bethlehem, Mount Airy (Poconos), Hollywood Casino at Penn National. Tables $10–25 mass; rules generally good (3:2 still findable).
Parx Casino — the highest-grossing in PA
In Bensalem, 25 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. Largest casino in the state by gaming revenue. ~3,300 slots, ~250 tables. Top-tier poker room. Recent renovation expanded sportsbook and dining. The default Philly-area choice.
Live! Casino Philadelphia
Stadium District, South Philly. Cordish Companies' build, opened 2021. Modern, mid-sized, well-located near the sports complex. Strong dining; smaller poker room than Parx.
Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
On the North Shore, near Heinz Field/PNC Park. Mid-sized integrated resort. The default Pittsburgh option. Decent dining, full table game menu, full poker room.
Wind Creek Bethlehem
Formerly Sands Bethlehem; sold to Wind Creek (Poarch Band of Creek Indians, AL) in 2019. Lehigh Valley location, 90 minutes from NYC and Philly. Steel Stacks adjacent — the converted Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces — a uniquely industrial casino setting. ~3,000 slots, ~180 tables.
Mount Airy — the Poconos getaway
Mount Airy Casino Resort (formerly Mount Airy Lodge) in the Pocono Mountains. Mid-sized casino + spa + golf + skiing nearby. Couples-resort vibe more than gambling destination.
